CVCC Ending Rimes Mat 4 (e.g., hand, milk, jump)

A high-impact small-group, center-station, and intervention resource designed to help students master CVCC words with ending consonant blends and rimes (e.g., hand, milk, jump). This learning mat explicitly teaches students how to blend and segment sounds at the end of a word, supporting accurate decoding and spelling development.

Using color-coded sound boxes, students isolate and map each phoneme, including the vowel plus ending consonant cluster, strengthening phonemic awareness and letter–sound relationships. Learners then blend, build, read, and write CVCC words, reinforcing automaticity with ending blends and rimes and improving overall reading fluency.
